Description
Custom High Capacity Polyurethane Wheels for Pallet Trucks
Our custom high capacity polyurethane wheels are built for pallet trucks running long shifts in warehouses, cold stores, food plants and loading docks. Each wheel is cast in our own China factory, where a high-grade polyurethane formula is bonded directly onto a cast iron, carbon steel or aluminum alloy core, then precision ground so the tread runs true on the hub. Compared with standard rubber or nylon wheels, this construction carries a heavier load with lower rolling resistance, so operators push with less effort and wheels are replaced less often. Because every pallet truck brand uses a different hub, bore and mounting pattern, we supply these wheels as a professional custom solution: diameter, tread width, bore size, hardness and colour can all be produced to your drawing or sample, and every production batch is checked on a dynamic load test rig before it leaves our plant. Rated up to 2,500 kg per wheel under static test and backed by an ISO 9001:2015 quality system, they are a reliable, cost-effective choice for importers, industrial distributors and OEM buyers looking for a top factory supplier with wholesale pricing and expert technical advice.
Why Choose This Product
- High load capacity in a compact wheel: single wheels are rated up to 2,500 kg under static test, which suits heavy-duty pallet trucks and transfer carts where space at the fork is limited.
- Low rolling resistance from a ground polyurethane tread: the smooth, precisely machined surface reduces push force and start-up effort, which means less operator fatigue and faster pallet movement on concrete floors.
- Long service life: our polyurethane compound shows abrasion loss of 35 mm³ or less under DIN 53516 testing, so tread wear stays slow even on rough or slightly uneven floors, cutting your replacement cost per pallet moved.
- Full customization and OEM support: as a professional custom manufacturer, we produce wheels to your dimensions, load rating and colour, including OEM and ODM projects with your own brand marking on the packaging.
- Stable quality you can plan around: our factory operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality system, and material certificates plus load test records are available with every shipment.

Hardness is the single most useful number when you select a polyurethane wheel for a pallet truck. Softer compounds around Shore A 85 grip better and run quieter, which suits smooth indoor floors and loads under 800 kg. Harder compounds around Shore A 95 deform less under heavy load, so rolling resistance stays low and the wheel keeps its shape on rough concrete or outdoor yards. If you are not sure which grade fits your application, send us your load, floor condition and daily running hours, and our engineers will give you a professional recommendation before you place an order.
Product Details
Every wheel goes through the same production sequence: core preparation, surface treatment, polyurethane casting or bonding, curing, machining, bearing assembly and final inspection. The polyurethane layer is bonded to the metal core with a chemical bonding agent, so it resists separation under shock load rather than simply sitting on the hub surface. Tread edges are chamfered to reduce floor marking and to help the wheel roll over small obstacles such as pallet lips and floor joints.
If you need to match an existing wheel on a pallet truck, a transfer cart or an AGV platform, send us a photo, a drawing or one sample piece. We will measure the bore, keyway, hub length and tread profile, then produce a drawing for your confirmation before production starts. Detailed photos and short working videos of your approved sample wheel can also be provided on request, so you know exactly what will arrive in the shipment.
About Us

Customers Visiting

We are a China-based manufacturer and supplier of custom polyurethane wheels, rollers and casters for pallet trucks, material handling equipment and automated guided vehicles. Since 2009 our team has supplied importers, industrial distributors and OEM buyers in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and we now run a dedicated production line for high capacity polyurethane wheels used in warehouse logistics. Because we sell directly from our own factory, there is no middle layer between your technical questions and the people who actually make the wheels.
Over the years we have welcomed many overseas buyers to our plant for factory audits and sample approval. Visitors usually spend time in the casting workshop, the machining area and the inspection room, where they can watch a batch of their own wheels being measured and load tested. We are happy to arrange the same kind of visit for your team, or to support a third-party inspection if you prefer to verify quality through an agency you already trust. Our aim is simple: supply wheels that fit the first time, hold up in daily use, and arrive on a schedule you can plan around.

Frequently Asked Questions – Custom High Capacity Polyurethane Wheels
What load capacity can your custom high capacity polyurethane wheels handle on a pallet truck?
Single wheels are rated up to 2,500 kg under static test, but the safe working load always depends on wheel diameter, tread width, core material and running speed. For a four-wheel pallet truck we normally recommend working out the load per wheel with a safety margin rather than using the maximum figure. Send us your truck model, total load and floor condition, and we will advise on the right combination of size and hardness for your application.
Can you customize wheel dimensions, bore size and hardness to match my existing pallet truck?
Yes. Customization is the core of what we do. We produce wheels from your drawing or sample, including diameter, tread width, hub length, bore diameter, keyway, bearing type and polyurethane hardness from Shore A 85 to 95. For OEM and ODM projects we can also mark your brand on the wheel or packaging. Most customized sizes are developed within a few days, and we always send a drawing for approval before production begins.
What is your MOQ and how does wholesale pricing work?
Our standard MOQ is 50 pieces per size, and trial orders or mixed sample sets are negotiable for new customers. Price depends mainly on wheel diameter, core type, polyurethane grade and order quantity. As a direct factory supplier we quote without a trading-company margin, and volume orders receive tiered pricing. Tell us your annual usage and we will prepare a clear quotation with the price breaks.
How do you control quality, and what certifications do you hold?
Our factory runs an ISO 9001:2015 quality system covering incoming metal cores, casting, machining, bearing assembly and final inspection. Every batch is checked for hardness, dimensions and bonding quality, and representative wheels run on our dynamic load test rig before shipment. Material test reports are available on request, our compounds are formulated to meet RoHS and REACH, and third-party inspection through SGS or another agency can be arranged if you prefer independent verification.
What is the delivery time, and can you handle urgent orders?
Standard lead time is typically 15 to 25 working days after drawing confirmation, and stock items can ship faster. Lead time can shift with raw material supply and peak season scheduling, so we confirm a realistic date with you at order stage and keep you informed if anything changes. For urgent projects, contact us early so we can review machine capacity and, where possible, arrange priority production.
Which polyurethane hardness should I choose for my floor and load?
As a general guide, Shore A 85 to 88 works well for smooth indoor floors, quieter running and loads under roughly 800 kg, while Shore A 92 to 95 suits heavier loads, rough concrete and outdoor yards where low rolling resistance matters more than softness. Floor condition, load, running speed and daily hours all influence the choice. Our engineers are happy to give expert advice based on your actual working conditions, free of charge.
What payment methods and shipping options do you support?
We normally accept T/T bank transfer and can discuss other terms for established customers. Shipments can be arranged by sea, air or express courier depending on order size and urgency, and we can quote FOB, CIF or door-to-door service. For wholesale orders we handle export packing, palletizing and documentation so the goods clear customs without extra work on your side.
Do you offer a warranty on your polyurethane wheels?
We stand behind our production. If a wheel shows a manufacturing defect such as bonding failure or a dimensional error under normal use and within the agreed working conditions, we will replace it or credit the value after reviewing the case. We do not promise that no wheel will ever wear out, because wear depends on load, floor and usage hours, but we do commit to honest handling of any quality issue and to working with you on a practical solution.
