Description
Custom Quick Release Polyurethane Wheels for Tool Carts
Why Choose Our Quick Release Polyurethane Wheels for Tool Carts?
Tool carts, service carts and mobile workstations take a beating in workshops, warehouses and assembly lines, and wheels are usually the first part to fail. The quick release design solves that problem at its root. Instead of pressing out a bearing or unbolting a bracket, your maintenance team pulls the release pin, slides out the old wheel and clicks in a replacement. This single feature turns a job that used to take half an hour into a one-minute task, which matters when a cart is blocking a production line or a technician is waiting on a parts trolley.
The tread is cast polyurethane at Shore A 92, formulated to resist oil, grease, coolant and most common workshop chemicals. Compared with rubber, polyurethane keeps its shape under repeated compression far better, so a 125 mm wheel can carry a load that would normally require a larger rubber wheel, keeping the cart lower and easier to push. Dynamic load tests run to 200,000 cycles at rated load, and DIN abrasion results stay within 45 mm³, giving you measurable evidence rather than marketing language. Material certificates and test reports travel with every shipment, and third-party inspection before dispatch is welcome.
Typical applications: Tool carts, service carts, mobile workstations, warehouse picking trolleys, assembly line part carts, maintenance carts in metalworking and woodworking shops, and heavy-load transfer stations where fast wheel replacement keeps operations running.

About Us – China Manufacturer of Custom Polyurethane Tool Cart Wheels
About Us

Customers Visiting

We are a professional industrial wheel manufacturer and supplier based in China, producing cast polyurethane and rubber wheels for material handling equipment since 2012. Our factory serves distributors, OEM cart builders and end users across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Over the years we have learned that wheel failures are rarely about the material alone; they come from a mismatch between load, hardness and floor condition. That is why every enquiry starts with a short technical conversation instead of a price list, and why we keep our custom tooling flexible enough to handle small trial runs before you commit to a full order. Certificates, test reports and real production photos are available on request, and we are glad to arrange a live video factory tour if you are evaluating a new supplier.

Production & Inventory Policy
Lead time: Actual lead time depends on raw material supply, machining schedules and peak-season workload, so it can vary. We provide our best delivery estimate once the order is confirmed and keep you informed of any change as soon as we know it.
Stock status: We generally do not hold stock, although a limited range of fast-moving standard sizes is kept on the shelf. Real stock quantities change with both sales and production, so please check with our team for current availability before placing an order.
Bulk and urgent orders: For large volumes or tight deadlines, contact us early so we can review capacity and scheduling. We will do our best to fit your timeline.
Frequently Asked Questions – Quick Release Polyurethane Wheels for Tool Carts
1. Can these quick release polyurethane wheels be fitted to my existing tool carts?
In most cases, yes. Our custom quick release polyurethane wheels for tool carts are available with 12 mm, 15 mm and 20 mm axle bores, and we can machine a plate fixing if your cart uses a bolted bracket. Send us the axle diameter, hub width and a photo or drawing of the current mounting, and we will confirm compatibility before you order. If a standard size does not fit, we produce a custom bore at no extra tooling charge for orders above the minimum quantity.
2. Can you customize wheel size, tread hardness and axle bore, and do you offer OEM or ODM service?
Yes. Diameter, tread width, colour, hub material and axle bore can all be customized, and the polyurethane hardness can be adjusted between Shore A 80 and Shore A 98 depending on your load and floor condition. We provide OEM and ODM service, including private-label packaging and branded hubs. Our engineers will review your drawing or sample and give you practical advice on the most suitable specification rather than simply quoting the largest option.
3. What is your minimum order quantity, and how does wholesale pricing work?
Standard sizes start at 100 pieces per size. A custom polyurethane compound or a new hub design requires 500 pieces because of mould and mixing setup. Wholesale pricing is tiered by quantity and shipping term, so the larger the order, the better the unit price. We are happy to quote several quantity levels at once so you can compare against your target market price.
4. How does the polyurethane tread compare with rubber or standard PU wheels on tool carts?
Rubber is softer and quieter but tends to flatten under static load and wears faster on rough concrete. Standard polyurethane is tougher, yet many low-cost versions are brittle and chip at the tread edge. Our cast polyurethane is formulated at Shore A 92 with a rebound resilience of at least 45%, which keeps the wheel round under continuous load and reduces pushing effort. The practical benefit is fewer wheel changes, less damage to floors, and lower total maintenance cost over the life of the cart, backed by abrasion and 200,000-cycle load test data.
5. What is the lead time and how are bulk orders packed?
Standard sizes usually ship in 15 to 20 working days after order confirmation, and customized wheels in roughly 25 to 30 working days. These figures depend on material availability and production load, and we will confirm a specific date with your order. Wheels are packed in individual cartons with foam separators, then palletised and stretch-wrapped for sea or air freight. Custom carton printing is available for OEM projects.
6. What payment methods and shipping terms do you support?
We accept T/T bank transfer, L/C at sight for larger orders, and online payment for samples. Shipping can be arranged on FOB, CIF, DDP or EXW terms depending on your preference. For first-time cooperation, we recommend starting with a sample order so you can test the wheels on your own carts before committing to volume production.
7. How do you control quality before shipment?
Every order passes first-article inspection, in-process dimensional checks and a pre-shipment sample test on the load rig. We record hardness, bore diameter, concentricity and bonding strength for each batch, and those records are available to you on request. Third-party inspection is welcome, and we will cooperate fully with your nominated agency.
Looking for a reliable manufacturing partner for your tool cart wheels?
Send us your drawing, sample or current specification, and we will come back with a clear quote, a realistic lead time and a free material sample for testing. Volume discounts are available for distributors and OEM projects, and our team is glad to help from the first drawing through to final delivery.
