Description
Custom REACH Compliant Polyurethane Wheels for Nordic Buyers
These custom REACH compliant polyurethane wheels are produced in our own factory in China for Nordic buyers who need documented compliance, stable dimensions and a repeatable quality result order after order. The tread is cast from a REACH-compliant polyurethane system and bonded to a machined carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminium core, giving noticeably higher load capacity and slower wear than standard rubber wheels working under the same conditions. For your operation that means longer replacement intervals, quieter rolling on indoor floors, and a lower cost per operating hour. Every production batch is traceable, and we ship the REACH compliance statement, material safety data sheet and dimensional inspection report together with the goods, so your compliance team has the paperwork before the pallets arrive. As a professional China manufacturer and OEM/ODM supplier, we offer expert advice and a practical price suggestion for the European market, whether you need standard sizes or a fully customized solution.
Why Choose These Polyurethane Wheels
- REACH-compliant formulation with supporting documentation, which keeps your Nordic market compliance checks straightforward and helps you avoid customs or tender problems later.
- Custom hardness from Shore A 70 to 95 and custom diameters from 50 mm to 500 mm, so one supplier can cover several machines instead of you managing multiple vendors across the market.
- Bonded carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminium cores that resist core separation under shock loads, reducing unplanned downtime on heavy transfer equipment.
- Machined to ±0.1 mm on critical dimensions, which keeps automated guided vehicles and indexing lines running true without constant re-alignment.
- Direct factory pricing with no trading layer, so wholesale quantities stay competitive without cutting material quality.

Material Performance
Polyurethane grade selection decides how a wheel behaves in service, and the difference between an average compound and a properly specified one shows up mainly in wear rate and heat build-up. The figures below are typical values for our standard REACH-compliant grades; exact values are confirmed by test report for each production batch.
| Property | Test Reference | Typical Value |
|---|---|---|
| Hardness | DIN 53505 | Shore A 85 ± 3 (standard grade) |
| Abrasion resistance | DIN 53516 | Low volume loss, suitable for continuous rolling duty |
| Tear strength | DIN ISO 34-1 | High resistance to tearing at the tread edge |
| Compression set | ISO 815 | Low set after 22 h at 70 °C |
| Rebound resilience | DIN 53512 | Moderate rebound, balancing grip and vibration damping |
| Bond strength | Internal pull test | Core-to-tread bond verified on every batch |
Hardness is where most specification errors happen. For continuous rolling duty on concrete or epoxy floors, Shore A 85 to 95 usually gives the best balance between load capacity and wear life, and this is the range we recommend first for AGV drive wheels and heavy transfer carts. Softer grades in the Shore A 70 to 80 range suit applications where grip and floor protection matter more than load, such as light handling carts and delicate floor surfaces. Because tear strength and compression set are checked batch by batch, a grade that performs well in your sample test normally performs the same way in the repeat order.
Product Details
The tread is cast or machined to your drawing, then ground and finished so the running surface stays flat and concentric. Cores are turned on CNC lathes with bearing seats held to tight tolerance, and where the application calls for it we add keyways, set screws, threaded hubs or mounting flanges. Low-temperature grades are available for cold-climate warehouses and outdoor handling equipment, which is often what Nordic buyers ask for most. Surface options include smooth tread, crowned tread for self-centring, and grooved tread for wet or lightly contaminated floors. Custom sizes, hardness and core combinations are all part of our standard OEM service for this market.
About Us

Customers Visiting

We are a China-based manufacturer and supplier of custom polyurethane wheels and rollers, serving industrial buyers, OEM machine builders and wholesale distributors for more than ten years. Our work is drawing-driven: you send a sample, a sketch or a 3D file, our engineers review feasibility and tooling, and we return a quotation with a realistic lead time. We are happy to advise on hardness, core material and bearing choice before you commit to a purchase, because getting the specification right the first time is what keeps total cost down. Shipments go out to Nordic countries and other European markets by sea, rail and air, with export documentation prepared by our own team. OEM and ODM projects are both welcome, and we support customized solutions across a wide range of industrial applications.

Production & Inventory Policy
Lead time: Actual lead time is affected by raw material supply, machining capacity and peak-season workload, so it can vary reasonably from order to order. We give you the most accurate delivery estimate we can once the order is confirmed and keep you updated throughout production.
Stock status: We generally do not hold stock, although a small number of fast-moving regular sizes are kept available. Actual stock quantity changes constantly with sales and production, so please contact us to confirm live availability before placing an order.
Bulk & urgent orders: For large volumes or urgent requirements, please talk to us in advance about capacity and scheduling. We will do our best to fit your timetable.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes these polyurethane wheels REACH compliant?
The polyurethane system we use is sourced from suppliers whose formulations are registered in line with REACH requirements, and we issue a compliance statement plus the safety data sheet with each shipment. If your Nordic compliance team needs a specific declaration format for these custom polyurethane wheels, we can prepare it before the goods leave our factory.
How do I choose the right hardness for a high-load AGV or transfer cart?
Start from the load per wheel and the running speed. For continuous rolling duty with loads above roughly 500 kg per wheel, Shore A 90 to 95 is usually the better starting point because it resists flat spotting and heat build-up. Where the floor is sensitive or the cart carries fragile goods, Shore A 80 to 85 usually gives a quieter ride with acceptable wear. Send us your load, wheel diameter and duty cycle and we will confirm the grade against DIN 53516 abrasion data before you order.
Can you customise diameter, hardness and core material for our application?
Yes. Diameter, tread width, hardness, colour and core material are all made to order, and we regularly produce custom solutions for cold-store and outdoor handling equipment where standard rubber wheels harden or crack. Send us your drawing, load per wheel and running speed, and our engineers will advise on the most suitable specification.
What is the minimum order quantity and how is wholesale pricing structured?
Standard sizes start from 10 pieces, and new tooling projects generally start from 50 pieces. Price depends mainly on diameter, hardness, core material and quantity, so tell us your annual volume and we will quote against it rather than against a single shipment. As a direct China factory, we can keep wholesale pricing competitive for Nordic buyers without compromising material quality.
How long is the lead time and how do you ship to Nordic countries?
Most orders ship in 15 to 30 working days after drawing confirmation, though busy periods and special materials can extend this, and we will always tell you before you place the order. We ship by sea, rail and air, and can quote on your preferred Incoterms, including delivery to your warehouse.
Do you support OEM and ODM projects?
We do. We produce under your part numbers, apply your labels and packaging, and keep your drawings confidential. For ODM work, we can develop a wheel around a performance target rather than an existing drawing, which is often faster than adapting a catalogue item.
Which applications are these wheels best suited to?
They are widely used on automated guided vehicles, heavy-load transfer carts, warehouse mobile platforms, conveyor guides and industrial castor assemblies. In these applications the main benefit is predictable wear, which keeps positioning accuracy stable and reduces the frequency of maintenance stops. For Nordic buyers working with indoor logistics or cold-climate handling, the low-temperature grades add further reliability.
What documentation comes with each shipment?
Every order includes the packing list, dimensional and hardness inspection report, and batch traceability record. The REACH statement and safety data sheet are issued with the first order and updated whenever the formulation changes.
